Always test EFFLORESCENCE RID on surfaces prior to application as some surfaces can become bleached.
APPLICATION REMINDERS
Remove all existing salt deposits mechanically before treatment
Do NOT use pressured water once efflorescence is treated
Do not rinse EFFLORESCENCE RID between applications, only after final application
Apply MAXSEAL FLEX or MAXSEAL FLEX M in two coats and reinforce the junction with MAXMESH
Substrate must be below 15% moisture before application of SEALTIGHT
Thoroughly wet the surface before each application of DRIZORO product
NOTE: 1st coat must be onto wet SEALTIGHT or ULTRABLOCK SEAL
METHOD
Prepare the area by mechanically removing all loose material and existing salt deposits, ensuring the substrate is clean, sound and porous. NOTE: Pressure water blasting is not recommended, as it may draw additional salts to the surface.
Spray EFFLORESCENCE RID onto substrate starting from the top working across and down, and allow the product to foam.
Once the foaming action has stopped, spray again from the top working across and down. DO NOT rinse between applications.
Repeat spraying of EFFLORESCENCE RID onto substrate until foaming no longer occurs. DO NOT rinse between applications. It is essential that salts are extracted from within the substrate and not merely removed from the surface.
Once the surface has dried to a moisture content of less than 15%, verified using a suitable moisture meter, spray SEALTIGHT /ULTRABLOCK SEAL in accordance with the Technical Data Sheet.
While SEALTIGHT/ULTRABLOCK SEAL remains wet, brush on the first coat of MAXSEAL FLEX / MAXSEAL FLEX M at 1 kg per m².
While the first coat of MAXSEAL FLEX or MAXSEAL FLEX M remains wet, embed the 200mm wide MAXMESH centrally over the junctions and lightly cover the mesh with MAXSEAL FLEX / MAXSEAL FLEX M.
Allow the first coat of MAXSEAL FLEX to cure for min 16 hrs max 72 hrs, or MAXSEAL FLEX M for min 6 hrs max 24 hrs.
Thoroughly wet the substrate with water until it is glistening wet (without free-standing water) brush apply second coat of MAXSEAL FLEX or MAXSEAL FLEX M at 1 kg per m².
IMPORTANT
All products must be used in accordance with the current Technical Bulletins and specific project requirements, including requirements relating to dimensions, surface preparation, mixing, and application.
